Types of PPF Films Based on Material
There are mainly two types of PPF on the market based on the material: TPU and TPH. Let’s explore these films in depth:

TPH films use Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) as their base and are less costly than TPU films. These films are not as excellent as TPU films when it comes to protecting the surface.
If you try to remove them, some TPH films even leave glue marks on the painted surface. They give protection for only 3 to 5 years when maintained properly.
